The Volunteering Experience at Ranger Red’s Zoo & Conservation Park

At Ranger Red’s Zoo & Conservation Park, we are committed to providing a hands-on experience for visitors. Our friendly and approachable staff and volunteers facilitate interactions with unique native wildlife, allowing visitors to truly immerse themselves in the experience. As a volunteer, you will play an important role in engaging with visitors and ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for the volunteer program at Ranger Red’s Zoo & Conservation Park, applicants must be 16 years or older, physically fit and able, and committed to a minimum of one shift per week for a period of three months. A Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Check may also be required, and all volunteers must follow Ranger Red’s Zoo & Conservation Park’s policies and procedures and dress code. A $50 deposit for a volunteer uniform is also required, refundable if returned in good condition within three weeks of leaving the program.
